April 2016 | Emma Johnson
We are so pleased to award Emma Johnson the title of “Dancer of the Month” for the month of April. We want to recognize her for her hard work and commitment.
Emma is the second of four children. She is the only girl! She loves dance, not only for the skills she learns, but because she has so many great friends and “sisters”.
Her favorite color is mint. Consequently, her favorite dessert is mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Emma is enjoying 6th grade! She loves to learn and you can always find her reading a book of some kind. Her favorite series is a toss up between Harry Potter and The Land of Stories.
She LOVES dance and most especially S1WDA. She had been dancing since she was 4, ballet and tap. This is her first year in competition but is loving every minute of it. In between dance classes she loves helping other instructors with the students. You can always find her happy and ready to help out!

February 2016 | Kaia Moniger
We are pleased to announce that Kaia Moninger has been selected as February’s “Dancer of the Month,” at Studio One’s Southwest Dance Academy.
Kaia Hana is in the Second Grade. She is 8 years old. She has two older brothers & she has 7 cousins. Kaia has a very close relationship with her ‘Grammie’ who is also one of her biggest inspirations for ballet.
Kaia loves to draw, write stories, choreograph dances, sing, bake, paint, and watch educational how-to youtube videos. She is very interested in health. She has loved to dance since she was very small. Kaia is a warm soul. She’s very kind to every one she meets, and is an amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece, and little pretty.
We are proud of Kaia and the improvements that we have seen in her over the past few months. She always displays a very positive attitude. Congratulations, and keep up the great work!
January 2016 | Hailie Crain
We are so proud to award Hailie Crain the title of “Dancer of the Month” for the month of January. We have seen wonderful focus and vast improvements.
Hailie is 9 years old and is very excited about turning 10 on February 16. She is a daughter, sister, grand daughter, great grand daughter and a cousin to 14 cousins. She loves animals and has two dogs, Zoey and Summer. Every day you can find her singing songs, designing outfits, or choreographing a new dance. Hailie is kind to others and is always going out of her way to help someone else. Hailie has been dancing since she was 3 and has been with S1SWDA since she was 4. Other than her creativity with dance, Hailie loves to draw, sew, and paint. Hailie aspires to be a veterinarian or a doctor when she grows up.
We are excited to see you continue to grow into a beautiful dancer and artist here at S1SWDA. You are a pleasure to work with Hailie, please keep up the great work!
December 2016 | Melanie Radan
Melanie is 10 years old and in the 5th grade. This is Melanie’s first year at Studio One, and is so excited to be part of the Innovation Dance Company. She pretty much lives and breathes dance, but she also really loves to sing. She is currently in the choir at her school and actively participates in the school plays. The last two roles she played was a tap-dancing reindeer and Little Red Riding Hood, and will be performing at the Orff Festival in March. Her very first show was at Spring Mountain Ranch where she played the littlest orphan in Annie, and followed that with playing 4-year old Tommy in Ragtag Production’s The Who’s Tommy, which was performed at Green Valley Ranch. While Melanie does love to sing, she plans to join band in middle school and hopes to play the trumpet.
Besides performing, Melanie also enjoys hanging out with her friends, filming videos for YouTube, and doing science experiments in her mom’s kitchen. She especially loves making slime! But most of all, she loves to dance, and is so excited to perform in her first competition with Studio One!
November 2016 | Alexandria Kurcab
We are very pleased to award Alexandria Kurcab the title of “Dancer of the Month” for the month of November.
Alexandria is 4 years old and in her second year of dancing. She is in Ms. Shanna’s Combo Exp class. Her favorite part of dancing is twirling and leaping. She is excited to learn jazz and wants to win a trophy one day! She also enjoys swimming, singing, and cooking. She is in Pre-K and is home schooled with her big sister. She loves learning about science, history, reading, and going on nature hikes with her friends. She is a big help in the garden and loves to collect bugs that she finds. She wants to be a veterinarian, chef, and astronaut when she grows up.

October 2016 | Ayelin Vasquez
Congratulations to Ayelin Vazquez, October’s “Dancer of the Month” at S1SWDA!
Ayelin was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is 7 years old and she speaks two languages, English and Spanish. She also wants to learn Portugues. She currently takes piano lessons. She attends Good Samarithan Christian School as a 2nd grader.
Her first dance class was at the age of 2. The first day at dance all she did was cry, not knowing what her future would hold. Now, 5 years later, dance is her life. She sleeps, dreams and lives for dance.
Congratulations Ayelin, we have truly enjoyed seeing your growth over the past 5 years. Keep up the great work!
September 2016 | Kamari Gibson
Kamari was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is 8 years old and currently attends Kathy Batterman Elementary School as a 3rd grader. Kamari has worked hard to achieve and maintain Honor roll status throughout the years. Kamari’s first dance class was at the age of 2 when she was enrolled in ballet. She took a few other dance classes over the years; but it wasn’t until joining Studio One a year ago, that she really started to hone in on her true love and passion for dancing. She is hopeful that she will perfect the skills needed to audition and compete with the Innovation Dance Company in the near future. Outside of dance, Kamari is a funny, high-spirited little lady who enjoys baking, reading, bike riding, going to the park, and spending time with her doggie BFF, Rosie. She loves the color blue and would like to be a Pediatrician when she grows up.
April 2016 | Audrey Bennett
Audrey loves dancing at Studio One and has enjoyed every class and instructor she has learned from these past three years. Audrey was born and raised in Las Vegas and lives with her parents and younger sister, Evey. Her favorite dancing class is Ballet. She also sings in her choir group and plays the piano. Audrey is a very hard worker and quick learner, she is very proud of her accelerated classes in school.
Audrey loves being active and has completed two 5K runs this past year. Her favorite color is purple, her favorite musical artist is Taylor Swift, and her favorite books are the Artemis Fowl series and the Harry Potter series. She has been active in Girl Scouts for seven years and values friendships. And she loves cats!
March 2016 | Aralynn Rivera
We are pleased to award Aralynn Rivera as March’s “Dancer of the Month.”
Aralynn began dancing when she was five years old. In the last two years, she has taken both jazz and ballet classes at Studio One Dance Academy.
She is a first grader at Charles and Phyllis Frias Elementary school, she consistently gets straight A’s on her report cards. When Aralynn is not at school or at dance class, she loves to swim, hang out with her older sister and her younger brother, eat Krispy Kreme donuts, and tell jokes. She dreams about being a competitor on the TV show “American Ninja Warrior” when she grows up. She also wants to be a dance teacher.

February 2016 | Anna Balsicas
We are pleased to award February’s “Dancer of the Month” to Anna Balsicas.
Anna is 14 years old and is an eighth grader at St. Francis de Sales. She has high honors and is the president of her school’s National Junior Honor Society. When Anna is not dancing at the studio, she is studying, choreographing for her grade’s dance team, singing, or spending time with her family and friends.
Anna started dancing last year at Southwest Studio One at the age of 12. She took acrobatics and hip-hop. When the season ended, Anna realized that her passion fell with hip-hop and auditioned for a competition team. Currently, she is Miss Stacey’s Crew Alliance captain. Anna is very enthusiastic about dancing and enjoys spending time with her team. She is always eager to learn more, challenge her abilities, and continue growing as a dancer.
January 2016 | Megan Collins
The “Dancer of the Month” for the month of January at Studio One’s Southwest Dance Academy is Megan Collins.
Megan is a student in Miss Cheryl’s acro class. She is 10 years old and she is in 5th grade. Megan started dancing at the age of 3 in combo classes. She then chose to focus on ballet for the next three years, before deciding to try acro. She is really loving the new skills that she is learning and she is really developing her flexibility.
Megan also enjoys soccer and piano. She really tends to gravitate towards all hobbies that are artistic. She really enjoys creating through drawing, painting, and creative writing.
This is Megan’s second year training at Studio One’s Southwest Dance Academy and she is extremely grateful for all that she is learning. We look forward to seeing Megan continue to grow here at the studio. Congratulations Megan, keep up the great work!
December 2015 | Peyton Nowacki
We are proud to announce Peyton Nowacki as December’s “Dancer of the Month” at Studio One’s Southwest Dance Academy.
Peyton is 4 years old and is in Pre-K at Doral Academy. She has a baby brother (who she adores) and a Golden Retriever (who she loves to play fetch with). Peyton has been dancing since she was 2 years old. Her favorite styles of dance are jazz, acro, and tap. Peyton is beyond excited for her first year competing with the Mini Company! When she’s not dancing, Peyton loves to draw, sing, ride her bike, and swim in the summertime. Her favorite color is purple. Peyton also LOVES to help her mommy cook, and says she wants to be a chef and own her own restaurant someday!
Peyton adores all of her S1SWDA friends she has met this year! She looks up to the older girls and says she wants “to be a beautiful dancer like the big girls”. We have a saying posted in her room that has become her mantra this year: “Though she be but little, she is FIERCE!”

We are please to announce the “Dancer of the Month” for the month of November at Studio One’s Southwest Dance Academy is Lisa Scarpaci.
Lisa is 7 years old and in first grade at Reedom Elementary. She has a sister and two brothers. Lisa loves art, singing, school, spending time with her family and also plays soccer. She has been a student at Studio One’s Southwest dance academy since she was three years old. She is currently taking ballet and tap.
We are very proud of Lisa’s hard work and we are excited to see her continue to grow as a dancer at S1SWDA. Congratulations!
October 2015 | Joey Dale
Joey Dale is a first year student at Studio One’s Southwest Dance Academy. He takes musical theater each week and is a wonderful asset to the class. Joey is ten years-old and in fifth grade at Reedom Elementary School. He is always prepared, and enthusiastic about musical theater, says teacher Greg Kata.
Joey is kind and generous to his fellow classmates and always has a smile on his face. Joey loves playing video games and board games, singing and writing stories while he is not at dance class, and says his favorite musical is Wicked. He also enjoys playing with his dog Bella. We hope Joey continues to spread his love for musical theater at our studio!
September 2015 | Thiara Carney
We are proud to announce our “Dancer of the Month” for the month of Sepember… Thiara Carney.
Thiara is 9 years old, and a student in Miss Wendy’s ballet class. She has been studying dance for 3 years. Ballet is her favorite dance style.
Besides dance Thiara enjoys playing the piano. She also enjoys studying computer science.
Thiara is a straight A student, and she is also a member of the GATE program at her school.
Thiara enjoys spending time with her family. She loves them and values them and their support of her dancing.

August 2015 | Chelsea Fernandez
We are so proud to announce Chelsea Fernandez as August’s “Dancer of the Month!”
Chelsea is 7 years old. She is in second grade at St. Gabriel Catholic School. In her spare time, she loves to sing which is her other passion. Chelsea also loves to swim and play on the trampoline, and she is an avid collector of Littlest Pet Shop toys. She is also an honor student.
Chelsea has been taking dance at S1SWDA since she was 3 years old. Chelsea danced in the Mini Company in 2013 and is back with Innovation Company this season after taking a break last year. This year, her goal is to improve on her dance technique and continue to enjoy dancing!
We are so happy to have Chelsea back and we are so excited to see her continue to grow this season. Keep up the great work Chelsea!
June 2015 | Olivia Penilla
Olivia takes 2 hours of dance per week with Miss Morgan. She is in Broadway Babies and Pre Ballet, and her favorite dance style is jazz.
She looks forward to her dance classes each week and someday hopes to be a dance teacher. When Olivia is not dancing, she enjoys reading, drawing, and playing with her My Little Ponies or Shopkins. She also loves the song “Let It Go” and likes reading her Disney Princess Stories. Her favorite movie is the animated film “Home” and she loves the color pink.
Miss Morgan is pleased with Olivia’s focus and progress. We see a great deal of potential in this little lady. Congratulations Olivia and keep up the great work!
May 2015 | Marieya Townsend
Marieya has been dancing for 2 years. We recognized her talents last season and asked her to audition for our Company Program this year. She currently dances 12 hours a week and has a fantastic hunger to learn. This drive has helped her to grow at a rapid pace this season.
Marieya is in 3 competition numbers and has helped her team to be very successful. She has a tremendous focus in class and is always eager for new challenges.
When Marieya is not dancing, she enjoys playing football with her 2 brothers. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite song is “Blank Spaces.” Marieya’s favorite dance style is jazz and her book of choice is “Gabby Douglas.”
We look forward to seeing Marieya continue to grow here at S1SWDA in the future. She is a pleasure to work with and a tremendous kid. Keep up the great work Marieya!
April 2015 | Danica Ruiz
Danica has been dancing at Studio One’s Southwest Dance Academy since she was 3 years old. She has been with our studio since it opened.
Danica’s favorite styles of dance are jazz and ballet. She spends 4- 6 hours a week practicing at home each week. Danica also enjoys singing and has performed at a First Friday event downtown.
Danica loves to play outside and draw. She also spends her time cooking and baking.
We are very proud of Danica’s progress this season. Keep up the great work little one!
March 2015 | Cooper Sorich
Cooper has been tap dancing with Studio One for five hears. He has shown tremendous growth over the years. He is always attentive and working hard in his technique classes. Cooper enjoys helping Miss Millie with the Mini/Petite Innovation Dance Company tap team.
When he is not working on his shiggy bops, he plays the guitar in the LVA guitar program. Cooper also has a big interest in outer space and even named his giant rubber duck Niel DeQuack Tyson.
Please keep up the great work Cooper. We are proud of your progress and look forward to seeing you grow even further at S1SWDA.
January 2015 | Gabby Angeles
Gabby is fairly new to the studio, but we have seen tremendous growth in her since she started studying dance at S1SWDA. Gabby is 11 years old and has two older brothers and three dogs. Her favorite song is Sweater Weather by The Neighborhood, and her favorite movie is Pitch Perfect. Other than dancing, she loves to read, have fun with her friends, and play outside.
Gabby has always had a passion for dancing from an early age. Her talent was discovered when she had to learn a Tahitian dance routine to perform for her seventh birthday. From then on, she has competed and performed in countless Tahitian and Hip Hop competitions and events. Gabby wants to master the other genres of dance in order to become a complete well-rounded dancer. She has been learning ballet with S1SWDA for the past six months, and intends to also enroll in Hip Hop and Contemporary. She has aspirations attend Julliard in New York so that she can fulfill her dream of becoming a professional dancer.
We are proud of Gabby’s growth so far this season, and we look forward to seeing her continue to progress and improve in time. Congratulations Gabby, keep up the great work!
December 2014 | Paizley Cogswell
Paizley is a dancer in Miss Lori’s Tiny Tumblers and Combo classes. She has been dancing since she was 2 1/2 at our studio. But her mother says that she has been dancing to the beat of her own drum since she could walk.
Paizley is very attentive in class and has shown tremendous progress each week. Although Paizley enjoys all of the styles that she is studying, her favorite is tap. She loves making music with her feet.
When she is not dancing, Paizley enjoys coloring, working on puzzles, singing, and playing princesses. Her favorite colors are blue and pink. And when she grows up, Paizley hopes to be a veterinarian. She has a real love for animals.

November 2014 | Kai’milla Fizer
Kai’milla is 6 years old and she is in the 1st grade at Reedom Elementary School. She begin dancing only six months ago. She currently takes ballet. jazz, tap, and is also a part of Innovation Dance Company. She is a dancer in our Jazz and Tap Performance Companies, as well as a Mini Jazz Small Group.
Kai’milla is very creative. Besides dancing, she also loves to design clothes and draw. She enjoys playing with her dolls and having play dates with her friends. We are very proud of Kai’milla’s progress so far this season. She is working hard and growing each week. Kai’milla has a lot of potential and we look forward to seeing her develop into a beautiful dancer here at S1SWDA.

Marieya has been working so hard this season. She is 10 years old and currently dances 12 hours a week at S1SWDA. Her favorite techniques are jazz and acro.
Marieya has grown so much over the past month. Her drive and dedication is helping her to progress very quickly. She is an inspiring student and we see a lot of potential in this dancer.
Her favorite color is purple, and her favorite song is “Shake It Off.” She loves the book “Gabby Douglas,” and Marieya has 2 younger brothers.
Marieya has only been dancing for 1 1/2 years and we are so proud of this talented dancer. We look forward to seeing Marieya continue to grow and develop technically into a gorgeous artist. Keep it up, your hard work is paying off!

Semaya has been dancing at the studio for the past 3 years. She takes 3 hours of classes per week, including ballet, jazz, and acro. Her love for dance and her commitment shows in each of her classes.
Besides dance, Semaya enjoys drama and theater. She also likes to play the guitar. Her favorite movie is “Frozen,” and she loves the color pink. Semaya really enjoys reading, and her favorite book is “Skippy Jones Lost In Space.”

We are pleased to announce our “Dancer of the Month for the month of June — Katelyn Canale! Katelyn has been working so hard this season at SISWDA. She has been dancing for 3 years and currently takes 9 hours of classes a week. She takes ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, acro, and leaps and turns. She loves training at the studio, and she is thankful for all of her teachers pushing her this season. She dances in Kay More’s Teen Hip Hop group with Innovation Dance Company.
When she is not dancing, you can find her enjoying time with her friends and family. She loves the water and enjoys scuba diving. Katelyn has dreams of becoming a professional dancer, a dance instructor. or a marine biologist in the future. We are so proud of Katelyn and her growth this year. Keep up the great work!
May 2014 | Frankie Velarde
Frankie (Francisca) is a smart, feisty, and fun loving 5 year old. She is a dancer in Miss Shanna’s Mini Jazz Company and Miss Millie’s Mini Tap Company.
She is also a peer leader for her PreK class and loves school. She started taking dance classes at the age of 3 because she wanted to do what her big sister, Tailia, did. As a result, she fell in love with dance too.
Frankie takes ballet, tap, and jazz classes. She absolutely loves her teachers at the studio and looks forward to all her classes, especially tap! Her parents have said that sometimes long after the day is over, you can still see her little feet tapping up a storm or find her leaping down the hallway!
We look forward to seeing Frankie continue to grow and develop into a beautiful little artist here at S1SWDA.
March 2014 | Chelsea Fernandez
Chelsea has been showing great improvements over the past few months. She is working very hard and growing by the week. Chelsea always displays a very positive and eager attitude in all of her classes. She takes tap, ballet, and two jazz classes each week.
When she is not dancing, Chelsea enjoys singing and listening to music. Chelsea also enjoys collecting her littlest pet shop toys. She is in kindergarten at Reedom Elementary School.
She hopes to dance forever and continue to improve each year. We are so happy to have Chelsea as a student here at S1SWDA. We are very excited about what the future holds for this little dancer. Keep up the great work Chelsea!
January 2014 | Alexis Shaffer
Alexis takes ballet with Miss Shanna and she just loves the class. She works hard every week and is showing major improvements every week.
Alexis loves to read and listen to music. Her favorite song is Taylor Swift’s “Trouble” and her favorite book is “Joy, the Summer Vacation Fairy.” She loves the movie “Despicable Me 2” and her favorite color is blue.
Alexis has a younger brother that is 5 yrs old. She loves spending time with her family. She also loves scrapbooking and baking cookies with her Mom.

November 2013 | Hannah Vuong
Hannah is six years old and this is her third year dancing at SOSWDA. She is a hardworking little dancer that always gives her all in every class. Her favorite style of dance is jazz and she really enjoys her class with Miss Lori each week.
Hannah loves to choreograph her own routines at home. Her favorite food is blended frozen bananas, and she loves to laugh loudly and often. Her favorite subjects are science and art. She also enjoys solving mysteries and learning about archeology. Hannah also likes to walk and raise money for the Food Allergy Research and Education Organization.
We love having Hannah and her sister at the studio, and we see such potential in little Hannah. We look forward to seeing her continue to grow in the years to come.
October 2013 | Jessica Stubbs
Jessica has shown exceptional progress and improvement. She currently dances 15 hours a week at S1SWDA and is also a dancer with Innovation Dance Company. She is a dancer on our Junior Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop teams. She will also be performing in her first specialty number this season! Although Jess loves all techniques of dance, her favorite style is hip hop.
When Jessica isn’t at the studio she enjoys swimming and making arts and crafts with her sister Aryana. She loves the music of Maroon 5 and her favorite color is green.

September 2013 | Isabella Bell-Fetterman
This is Isabella’s 2nd season dancing at S1SWDA. She is a new member of Innovation Dance Company and loves being more involved at the studio this year. Her favorite styles of dance are Tap, Jazz, Acro, and Contemporary.
Isabella loves theater and enjoys singing and playing the piano, but her greatest passion is dance, which she discovered last season at S1SWDA.
She is a big sister to her twin brother and sister, and she is also a big-time animal lover with a big heart.
We are very proud of Isabella and the growth that we have seen so far this season. Keep up the great work!.
August 2013 | Kaitlyn Herbert
Kaitlyn has been dancing at S1SWDA for the past 3 years and has been a dancer with Innovation Dance Company for one year. She is currently a dancer in the Teen Jazz Performance Company and the Junior Contemporary Competition Company. She takes 8 hours of dance a week, and her favorite styles are jazz and contemporary. She hopes to dance with Innovation Dance Company for years to come and to continue moving up within the Company.
Kaitlyn is in 8th grade at Faiss Middle School. She is in all accelerated classes and she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
Her favorite thing to do is dance, but she also loves fashion and arts and crafts.
We are very proud of Kaitlyn and her improvements over the years. She has lots of potential and we are excited to see her continue to grow into a beautiful artist and technician here at S1SWDA. Congratulations Kaitlyn on your hard work and accomplishments.

Congratulations to our Dancer of the Month for the month of May. Ciara takes 2 hours of dance per week at S1SWDA. She takes ballet with Miss Angela and jazz with Miss Meghan. Ciara works very hard in her classes and has shown incredible improvements over the past year.
Besides dance, Ciara also enjoys ice skating and roller skating. Ciara is an extremely hard worker in school as well, and she is a member of the GATE program.
Ciara is an extremely dedicated dancer and in her, we see lots of potential. We look forward to Ciara’s future here at S1SWDA.

Congratulations to our Dancer of the Month for the month of April. Jessica is a 10 year old dancer in Miss Lori’s Jazz Class. She dances 1 hour a week and really loves her class here at S1SWDA. Her dance class is her favorite time of the week.
Jessica’s favorite song is “Titanium” and her favorite movie is “Pitch Perfect.” She loves the color blue and the book “Percy Jackson.” Jessica also enjoys skating, bike riding, hiking, and swimming.

Congratulations to our Dancer of the Month for the month of March. We are so proud of the hard work and growth that we have seen in Aryana this season. She is an 8 year old dancer in Miss Jessica’s Petite Jazz Company and Mr. Joe’s Junior Hip Hop Company. She is extremely dedicated to our studio, taking 10 classes per week. Aryana is a very well-rounded little dancer.
We are so impressed with the improvements we have seen in Aryana so far this season. Her incredible flexibility combined with her strength make her a major asset to her groups. Aryana is very attentive and focused in the classroom. When she isn’t at the studio, Aryana enjoys art and reading.
She has 1 sister Jessica, that also dances here at S1SWDA. Aryana also has a cat and 2 hamsters at home. She loves the color blue and her favorite song is “Call Me Maybe.” We are excited to help Aryana continue to grow and improve here at S1SWDA.

Hope is 9 years old and works very hard in her tap class with Miss Millie. She started her training at the age of 2 years at our Summerlin Location, and has since transferred down to our Southwest Location.
Besides dancing, Hope also enjoys her instrument ensemble, girl scouts, and the G.A.T.E. program. Her favorite book is “Harry Potter” and she loves the movie “The Spiderwick Chronicles.” Her favorite colors are green and purple.
We are very excited about Hope’s progress and we can’t wait to see her grow into a fantastic dancer and artist here at S1SWDA.
January 2013 | Harper Karvounis
Harper is the youngest “Dancer of the Month” we have ever chosen, but already Miss Helen sees a special talent in Harper. She is almost 3 yrs old, and takes Combo class with Helen on Saturday mornings. She is always on her mark, and helping other dancers in her class.
Harper is always very excited to attend dance class and constantly practices at home. She has even tried wearing her ballet and tap shoes to bed!
Besides dancing, Harper also enjoys jumping on her trampoline and playing with her friends at the park. She has a dog, named Rock that she loves to tease. Her favorite movies are “Tangled” and “Cinderella.”
We are very pleased with Harper’s improvements and growth in such a short amount of time. We can’t wait to see her grow into a beautiful dancer and artist here at S1SWDA.
December 2012 | Alyssa Tiangco
Alyssa is the captain of Canarelli Middle School’s Dance Team, a member of the National Honor Society, and a part of her school’s leadership program.
She also enjoys baking, learning about fashion, and choreographing dances in her spare time. Her family is very important to her and she is very close to her 4 sisters.
When Alyssa grows up, she would like to open her own performing arts school.
Alyssa has proven to be a major asset to our studio and she has shown major improvements so far this year. We can not wait to see her continue to grow and develop into a true artist here at S1SWDA.
October 2012 | Madison Stalter
Madison’s favorite color is pink and her favorite movie is “Tangled.” She loves the music of Katy Perry and her favorite book is “Tinkerbell.” Besides dancing, Madison also loves preschool and going to the Nascar races.
We see lots of potential in Madison and can’t wait to see her grow into a beautiful dancer and artist here at S1SWDA!
September 2012 | Abby Farr
Abby is six years old and dances 5 hours a week. Her favorite dance styles are Jazz and Lyrical. She is a member of Innovation Dance Company’s Petite Jazz Company. Abby always works hard in class and brings lots of personality to the stage.
Besides dancing, Abby also likes to spend her time swimming and boating with her family and friends. Her favorite movie is “Monsters Inc.” and her favorite color is purple. She loves the book “Little Pink Pup” and her favorite song is “Call Me Maybe.”
Abby has improved by leaps and bounds over this past year and we are very proud of her accomplishments. We can’t wait to see her continue to grow into a beautiful dancer and artist. Keep up the great work Abby!
August 2012 | Carissa Rainwater
“Breaking Dawn” is Carissa’s favorite book and movie. Her favorite color is purple and she loves the song “As Long as You Love Me.”
Carissa has 2 brothers named Gavonni & Kris, and she also has a dog named Coda. In her spare time, Carissa likes to hang out with friends and help out with the kids at her Mother’s Day Care.
Carissa is a very hard working dancer and we look forward to seeing her grow into a beautiful dancer & artist here at S1SWDA.
